Filadelfia (Chaco)

The city of Filadelfia is part of the Fernheim Colony and is, without a doubt, the center of this region of the Chaco.
It is the second largest city populated by the Mennonite Colonies.
It was founded by some refugee Mennonites that arrived in Paraguay from the Soviet Union having previously passed through Germany.

The famous "green hell" is a dry blanket that occupies over 60 % of the Paraguayan territory it includes the departments of Presidente Hayes, Boqauerón and Alto Paraguay.
