Paraguay, is Asunción, the capital city on the bank of the Paraguay River with the authentic Pettirosi Marketplace, with its interesting shopping possibilities; is the always green and everlasting subtropical jungle to the northeast; the wheat and soybean fields in the southeast; the viticulture and cattle ranches in the east; and is also the so-called “green hell” of the Paraguayan Gran Chaco. The Paraguayans are really amazing. The spontaneity and friendliness of the people is authentic and gives the visitor a sense of always being welcome. The legendary “gaucho” continues to thrive and daily carries out his exhausting work. However, Paraguayans also know how to enjoy themselves and celebrate the end of a long day’s work. So, it becomes very difficult to run into a Paraguayan who is in a bad mood.
